BCIT and OMICRON bring you an online technical talk/event on IEC61850 topics, Wednesday February 3, 2021 at 7:00 pm.

As OMICRON has received an overwhelming amount of interest from industry, BCIT is working in conjunction with OMICRON to bring you an interactive online technical talk/event on IEC61850 topics.

This event is an excellent opportunity to learn and foster discussions on IEC61850 for practicing professionals and alumni. It will provide some perspective on how it is being used and applied in the real world. Current students are welcome to join as well.

Topics that will be covered include an overview of the IEC61850 standard and concepts (data model, data exchange services, SCL) as well as a live demonstration using real world relays and test tools.

This online event requires registration, so please register. Your contact information will be used to remind you of the event, send you the link to access the Zoom event, and follow up on the event.
